Just got back from this place, and I can only agree – you need a full day here. I’m already looking forward for my return here. Next time I think I’ll take the suggestion and just get a taxi instead.

Amazing place, with lot’s of things to see (mostly fish) and do. Don’t miss out on the smaller coves on the way towards the river. Less people, clearer water and tons of fish !! Bring water though since it takes a while if you walk/snorkel your way to the end of the river and it gets quite hot.

Yes, I agree with what he said in the beginning. I’ve been there and took the Tulum/Xel Ha tour and they don’t give you enough time at each place. I would stay the entire day at Xel Ha and an entire day at Tulum. Both are worth spending time.

Very nice video. We have been going to Cancun almost every year since 1999. We first did the Tulum / Xel-Ha tour in about 2004. We have just done Xel-Ha every year since just because of the time constraints. Tulum is a must do at least once. Xel-Ha is a must do every year.

i love tulum, and very proud to be Mexican, now I’m in Europe, but nothing can compare my country what a shame that the politics and mafia get down Mexico…

you really have a nice taste!

Thanks! You’ll love Tulum. It was definitely my favorite(Cindy) – it’s right on the water – incredibly beautiful. Take swim gear – it was extremely hot there and you can go down many stairs to an incredible beach. Also, pack lots of water to drink – it can be very hot there and there were no vendors(and that was a big part of what made it so much nicer).
